Huge Huge Sale!

Subversive work blogging continues after months of no meaty blog to read - I know, I know, I'm terrible.  It's been beautiful out of doors - despite our disbelief again this year that spring would never come, that global warming would finally come and freeze our poor planet, spring has indeed come.  Magnolias are in bloom everywhere, I'm seeing little bits of quince and little itty-bitty leaves, and there's this red-green haze on all the trees.  Soon, there'll be leaves and all kinds of goodness - but today, I'm soaking up that 70 degree weather!  Indoors, life has been crazy busy.  I've taken a part-time job (contract work really) editing patterns for a knitting magazine - which is great fun - in addition to all the other design I've been doing... not to mention the 10-12 hour days at my regular job - I haven't had time to breathe - never mind go to Stitch n Bitch or blog.  But you've all been in my thoughts.... Then again, with a header like HUGE HUGE SALE, I don't think you came to read about my thoughts anyway!

Onwards.

Knit Happens Online is having a colossal sale.  A sale of ginormous proportions.  Seriously - remember that show that was on Lifetime, called "Supermarket Sweep" - where at the end of the episode, people would race through the grocery store buying 10 pounds of coffee and a ton of Christmas Hams?  Well, I often have dreams that I'm in that episode - except it's a yarn store - and I have 3 minutes to get as much yarn into my cart and up to the counter as I can.  Luckily, with this huge sale at Knit Happens Online, I can finally have that experience for real!  And you can too!

The specs:

Everything is at Deep Deep Discount.  Everything.  Skeins of Koigu for 4 bucks.  Cashmerino at 3 bucks a ball - skeins of laceweight alpaca at $2.50... and on and on.  Everything's been marked down 55% - which is a STEAL.  Of course, I've already been through once... picked up all kinds of goodies I couldn't live without, like more Koigu and Lorna's Laces sock yarn, a bag of LL's Mohair Wool Blend, two bags of Koigu Kersti, 12 skeins of Cashmerino in this great green... and on and on (and because it's all at deep discount, I got it for next to nothing).

Seriously- run, don't walk to your computer, go to knithappens.net/shop and shop shop shop your way to happiness.  This is the kind of sale I want to shout from rooftops - because we as knitters are often caught spending a ton of money on yarn... and it's so nice, after all those hours of fighting crowds at MDSW and sifting through bags of acryllic at other sales, to find one where there's so much good stuff to buy and it's so incredibly cheap.

Have fun all - I'll be blogging again soon - I promise! :)
